The critics of the official National Parks Trump inauguration crowd attendance photo may have evidence to support their concern. This C-Span camera shot was taken moments after President Elect Trump arrived at the podium. The official photo contains no time stamp.
Attempting to be totally objective here is a challenge. The fight is on between the free marketeers and the bureaucracy.
Optical illusion or real life?
The C-Span photo clearly shows the last two areas before the Washington Monument are mostly empty. And all other areas to be mostly full. This photo was taken shortly after Donald Trump arrived on the podium. The other official picture clearly shows only the first two areas as full and mostly full. With no official time stamp, increasing mistrust of the bureaucracy has raised questions about authenticity.
Even though the two pictures are taken from two different points of view, they seem to contradict each other. Also as you can see in the 2013 photo of the President Obama inauguration, tents can be put in place to shield from rain and sun. No indication that President Trump or his supporters erected tents on the apparently empty spots shown in both photos.
Without Question Obama Crowd was Larger
But for those of you to whom size matters, Obama and Reagan are the kings of Crowd. These two President Obama inauguration photos clearly show the crowd attendance is full. No Question!
President Obama began his political career as a political organizer and his skills were evident in both events.
During both Obama inaugurals, first the campaign in 2009 and later the White House in 2013, coordinated with many social justice and other political organizations. They to bus in people who otherwise could not have been able to attend. No indication that the President elect’s people were doing anything like that at the Trump inauguration.
