Kenny Scharf, an innovative, visual pop culture expressionist.
UE Boom an innovative, sonic pop culture accessory.
Kenny Scharf is a street artist and street art is trending. Corporate marketers are more interested than ever these days in positioning their brand to connect to customers through street culture. Marketers call lots of things street art these days. Sometimes they call something street art even if its only connection to the street was when it was carefully wrapped and transported to the gallery. And Kenny Scharf does a lot of gallery exhibits and has, ever since his first project at the Space Age Club 57, NY in 1979. But he also is an early street art pioneer.
OK so “Judy” his first street art piece of record is not the Mona Lisa. I think we can all agree on that. BUT COULD LEONARDO DA VINCI DO THIS!!!
I think not. And that’s the point isn’t it. The point isn’t can Kenny Scharf paint the Mona Lisa. The point is, could Leonardo da Vinci have created a speaker that is as much fun to look at as it is to listen to. Well Kenny Scharf can. This is why UE Boom was so happy to collaborate with him on their new, limited edition blue tooth speaker.
